The vocabulary exercises are primarily designed to help pupils remember, consolidate or even come into contact for the first time with useful phrasal elements, folk or scholarly, which will enable them to enrich their vocabulary and embellish their writing and their style. Along with language cultivation, these exercises often facilitate the assimilation of factual knowledge. The book contains various vocabulary exercises, which are designed to motivate pupils to work on their own, with only minimal assistance by the teacher.

The exercises can be done in a variety of ways: individually or in groups, orally or in written form (or even as a game) in class.
