Η γλωσσογεωγραφία [Linguistic geography]
E. Coseriu
The book presents, in a concise and, at the same time, critical fashion, the evolution and the principles, methods and applications of modern linguistic geography (taking mainly the Romance language region into consideration). This is the only introduction of its kind that examines the place of linguistic geography in the context of modern linguistics.
The author, a distinguished romanicist and linguist, served as professor at the universities of Montevideo and Tübingen, and has published numerous articles on Neo-Latin languges.
