Διαλέγω και διαβάζω [I choose and read]

The book is intended for young Greeks living in Greece and abroad. The Modern Greek poetry and prose which it includes combine lexical wealth with expressive simplicity and variety, without, however, making any concessions with regard to quality. With their cheerful mood and their sense of humor they arouse children’s interest and familiarize them faster and more easily with the language and the thought of many established and lesser-known Greek intellectuals. The authors aspire to stimulate children into forging a closer bond with the Greek language and culture by means of an imaginary journey into the book’s pages. At the same time, they hope the book will prove a useful aid for those teaching our language to young Greeks of emigrant hellenism, to the kids of repatriated Greeks, but also to foreign children who wish to learn the Greek language.
