This book is an invaluable learning aid intended for students of all levels studying Modern Greek. Designed as a supplement to the Modern Greek for Learners coursebook, i.e., the basic teaching textbook of Modern Greek as a second/foreign language at the School of Modern Greek Language of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, but also at many universities and research institutes all over the world, it helps students practice various morphological and syntactic phenomena of Modern Greek and facilitates the consolidation of vocabulary. The book includes a variety of exercises (gap filling, matching, true or false exercises, transformations, crosswords, and others). Each module ends with oral exercises (see the accompanying CD), reading comprehension and writing exercises (guided or free). The key to these exercises is provided at the end of the book.

The book’s 14 authors teach at the School of Modern Greek Language, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and have many years’ experience in the teaching of Modern Greek as a second/foreign language.
