Supporting the 2nd Language Competition LexiGame

The Institute of Modern Greek Studies supported the "2nd Language Competition LexiGame", held on April 21st, 2016 at the 1st Pilot High School of Thessaloniki "M. Andronikos". The 1st Pilot High School of Thessaloniki and the Pilot High School of the University of Macedonia took part in the competition. 

The event was organized by D. Salonikidis and D. Poimenidou, philologists at the school. The winners were: (1st winner) Pilot High School of the University of Macedonia (Z. Kaloudi, St. Atsikidou, Chr. Kreza), (2nd winner) 1st Pilot High School of Thessaloniki (X. Tzivri, C. Revis, F. Savidou), and (3rd winner) Pilot High School of the University of Macedonia (Chr. Marandidou, N. Parmakoglou, M. Tzivopoulou). During the third stage, the winner was M. Galanopoulou, student of the Pilot High School of the University of Macedonia . The director of the Institute, G. Papanastassiou, awarded each winner a complimentary copy of the book A History of the Ancient Greek Language by A.-F. Christidis .
