Seminar "Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language"

The Institute of Modern Greek Studies participated in a Seminar for the Greek teachers of Sweden entitled "Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language", by the Greek Education Office at London,the Federation of Greek Associations and Communities of Sweden , on Saturday, May 24th 2012, at 10.30-16.30, at 4 Idungatan str., Stockholm.

 

Speakers: G. Papanastassiou, "Modern Greek Spelling: Historical Documentation", and P. Andreou (1) "Pronunciation Teaching of Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language" and (2) "The Institute's editions on Teaching Modern Greek as a Second/Foreign Language".

G. Papanastassiou also gave a lecture entitled "The Greek Language in the Course of Time", on Sunday, May 25th 2012, at 14:00.

The lecture was organized by the Greek Education Office at London,the Federation of Greek Associations and Communities of Sweden and the Institute of Modern Greek Studies.
